Fear.
I’m afraid of dying. I said that on Facebook once and was attacked by Christians quoting verses I have memorized. I know what the bible says about it but if I pretend I’m not scared doesn’t that make me fake? Jesus died for my failures. Isn’t that fear included. I struggle with depression but I also know what the bible says about that. Christ is my joy but I don’t always feel it.
I’m not perfect. Christ is. Through him I learn perfection. Christ is my perfection. He is working in me.
If all Christ followers would be honest, I believe more people would truly see Christ.
